You Cannot Kill the Root by Nathan Kuzack

This is a bit of a general news post, since I haven't written a post in a while. This is partly because – without going into too much detail – my health suffered a setback this year. I'm recovering well though, and I'm back to writing again.

My next novel will almost certainly be different from my other ones. It will be more akin to the novels of Iain Reid, who wrote I'm Thinking of Ending Things and Foe. The book will be categorised as neither science fiction nor outright horror, and will instead incorporate some elements of horror while being what I like to term "eerie".

At the moment I don't intend to self-publish the book, so I'll be looking for a publisher instead. Wish me luck. I also don't intend to publish the book under the name Nathan Kuzack. If the book reaches completion and finds a publisher, I'll let you know via this website.

Readers may like to know I've published three romance/erotica books under a different pseudonym. Two are romance novellas and the third is a collection of erotic short stories. The two novellas fall under the genres of horror (namely vampires) and science fiction. I'm unsure whether to give out the title names on this website or keep them entirely separate. If you'd like to know what the titles are, send me a message.

I've entered one of my books (You Cannot Kill the Root) into the latest edition of the Self-Published Science Fiction Competition (SPSFC). My entrant last year (Wakers of the Cryocrypt) didn't fare too badly, reaching the semifinals of the contest. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed once again.

That's it for now. If you've enjoyed one of my books, why not let me know? I'm always interested in getting feedback from readers or other writers.
